Does anyone know where I can locate the sheet music for Miaskovsky's Cello Concerto in C Op. 66?

Steven, I wasn't aware that Miaskovsky's music was ever played in England! I would love to see one of his symphonies or the Cello Concerto in concert. I was delighted, however, to hear a performance of Gliere's Symphony No 3 in London a while back (the first performance of the complete work in the UK since 1911!
In addition to your list I would add symphonies 6, 16, 21 and 25 as favourites. I must listen to Symphony 20 following your recommendation as I hardly know that one.
best wishes, Jeffrey

Myaskovsky is my favourite composer, along with Rachmaninov. Favourite pieces are symphony No.17,20, 24 & 27. In England his music is always popular when played, but is still badly received in academic circles. This is a terrible reflection on the disastrous state of things in English universities at the moment. Rachmaninov is viewed with similar distain. This needs to change. Soon!
All best wishes to everyone on the site. I wish I'd been at the conference in April in Moscow. It would have been very exciting.

Очень жаль,что на сайте нет ничего о эпистолярном наследии Николая Яковлевича.

Thank you for your response. I am delighted to learn of the book's existence and i hope that somebody can translate the book into English for all us Anglo Saxon Myaskovsky enthusiasts. Maybe, if someone out there has connections with the publishing world and reads this, they could contact Dmitri and get the ball rolling, as it were.

In addition to previous requests: does anyone know a way to find Myaskovsky orchestral scores? Many years ago I was happy to purchase a full score of symphony #5 in London, but all subsequent efforts failed.

Does anyone have information about the availability of sheet music editions of Myaskovsky's piano music, in particular the 9 piano sonatas? The scores of two of the sonatas - Nos.7 and 8 (op. 82 and 83) - are available for download on the Web, but I'm trying to find a complete edition of all 9, preferably as hard copy.

I am considering playing music by Myaskovsky in a piano recital in my hometown. Anyone who knows how to obtain the score of piano sonatas nє 1 Op. 6 and nє 4 Op. 27 ?
